Quechua Benefit is a nonprofit organization dedicated to social justice for the Quechua people living in highland Peru. They work to relieve suffering and provide opportunity in Andean communities through healthcare, education, and economic empowerment. Casa Chapi is a school established by Quechua Benefit for the benefit of children of alpaca herders in the highlands of Peru. Casa Chapi provides a nurturing refuge to children whose families, despite their hard-work and best efforts, are unable to provide for them.
We will auction a couple of items at the 2017 Spectacular Show Ring Soiree to raise funds for Casa Chapi. Patagonia Alpacas have donated a mating to Snowmass Velveteer and AAFL are donating an alpaca garment that will be on display at their trade stand during the event. Velveteer is a stunning medium fawn male imported into Australia from Snowmass Alpacas, one of the finest breeders of alpacas in the US. He will be available for inspection at Spectacular but is not available for outside matings. Please click on the button below for information supplied by Patagonia Alpacas.
